Who is Ruth Hughes?Â
Ruth is a positive psychology coach and trainer. Not only that, but as a former school Director of Marketing and Admissions, she has walked in your shoes.
With an MSc in Applied Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology, experience as Course Director on Cambridge University's Coaching Certificate Programme, and her own company Curious Human, Ruth uses evidence-based psychological strategies to deliver wellbeing and leadership training and coaching in schools, universities and organisations supporting and championing young people.
She has also worked with Nicola, helping to 'unblock' clients' mindset obstacles, enabling them to grow their enrolments.

Paul started over 15 years ago in the entertainment industry creating brilliant client journeys. He worked with top brands like Secret Cinema, Hewlett Packard, Stella Artois, and Microsoft, where he created award-winning, interactive experiences. Then, after a decade as a Commercial Airline Pilot, he and Helen joined forces and formed Client Funnels, to change the way we engage, interact and sell online.

He knows a thing or two about tours, visits, fam trips and events!

Formerly a senior executive at Embassy CES and Director of Operations USA for Studygroup, he later worked with Trinity College London. Thom served as principal of Oxford College International summer programme for five years and now runs Brock Solutions Agency. He is a global presenter, guest lecturer at four universities, and freelance business and management trainer.

James is Director of Marketing, Admissions and Communications at Ackworth School and is responsible for all aspects of student recruitment across domestic and international, from nursery to 6th Form. James joined Ackworth in August 2022 following 17 years in Higher Education recruitment in various senior leadership roles at universities including The University of Sheffield and UCL. Since joining Ackworth School he has completed a full rebrand, delivered a new school website and increased international boarding numbers through developing a new network of key agent partners across the world.
